COMPANY OVERVIEW Mtech-Icon, a commercial mechanical contractor, focuses on design, installation and service for commercial and industrial facilities. Mtech-Icon, A Comfort Systems USA company, has been serving the central Texas business community for over 25 years.
POSITION SUMMARYThe HVAC Project Sales Professional is responsible for conducting business-to-business sales activities to prospect target customers and learn about their HVAC / Mechanical systems. The Sales Professional will facilitate discovery meeting, identify decision makers, understand client goals and develop customized proposals to provide services such as mechanical equipment change outs, equipment upgrade, and equipment / piping retrofits.
FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

  • Actively seek out new business sales opportunities by consistent prospecting. Prospecting activities include cold calling, warm calling, setting and leading discovery meetings, attending networking and trade organization functions, along with other prospecting activities.
  • Qualify target customers to determine how customers' needs and equipment align with business solutions, tracking all activities within company CRM.
  • Survey mechanical systems to determine repair, modification, and/or replacement requirements in order to complete detailed equipment site surveys and quotes.
  • Utilize site surveys and client feedback to generate competitive quotes and proposals.
  • Lead proposal presentations to outline survey findings and detail plan of action to customers.
  • Promptly addresses customer concerns to assure resolution of problems as they arise.
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with the purpose of gaining the client's trust, meeting their objectives, and delivering value added solutions.
  • Participate in sales and industry training to develop strategies and tactics to penetrate targeted accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure the customer's needs are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Prior HVAC / Mechanical Project Sales experience within commercial and industrial setting. Preferably in the San Antonio, TX market.
    • Proficient technical knowledge of modern HVAC equipment to include DX and chilled water systems.
    • Knowledge of applicable codes.
    • Proven track record of new business development resulting in closing profitable work and growing market share within assigned territory.
    • Able to understand customer goals and effectively develop proposals that will enhance customer's facility while reducing long-term operating costs.
    • Use of CRM to log sales activities.
