Job Description Job Description About the Role: The Bilingual Salesman plays a critical role in driving revenue growth within the retail automotive sector by effectively engaging with a diverse customer base. This position requires leveraging bilingual communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met with tailored automotive solutions. The successful candidate will utilize expert sales negotiation techniques to close deals that benefit both the customer and the dealership, fostering long-term relationships. Additionally, the role involves staying informed about the latest automotive products and market trends to provide accurate and compelling product information. Ultimately, the Bilingual Salesman contributes to the dealership’s reputation and profitability by delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets consistently. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience in Powersport sales or a related retail sales environment. Fluency in English and at least one additional language relevant to the local market. Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CRM software and automotive sales management tools. Formal training or certification in sales techniques or automotive product knowledge. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or marketing is a plus. Responsibilities: Engage with customers in both English and a second language to understand their powersports needs and preferences. Present and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits to potential buyers, highlighting key selling points. Negotiate sales terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements while maximizing dealership profitability. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive products, promotions, and industry trends to provide accurate information. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Collaborate with the sales team and management to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals. Prepare and process sales documentation accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies. Skills: The required skills such as sales negotiation and automotive sales techniques are applied daily to effectively communicate vehicle value propositions and close sales with diverse customers. Product sales expertise enables the salesman to tailor presentations to meet individual client needs, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Bilingual abilities facilitate clear and culturally sensitive communication, expanding the dealership’s reach within multilingual communities. Preferred skills like CRM proficiency support efficient customer relationship management and follow-up, improving sales pipeline management. Together, these skills empower the salesman to deliver a seamless and professional buying experience that drives business success.
