This person will have worked in a similar position for at least 2 years. This is a highly visible role, reporting to the Finance Manager, with exposure to both the financial planning and accounting related aspects of a growing organization.The Person In This Position Will

  • Assist with quarterly forecasting and annual budget modeling
  • Assist with quarterly review preparation
  • Manage Underwriting billing and volume tracking
  • Analyze and reconcile revenue and account discrepancies
  • Provide meaningful analysis on revenue and sales pipelines to management
  • Analyze contracts and provide contract language recommendation to Sales team for fees and billing terms
  • Work with A/R to reduce aging and outstanding accounts
  • Ensure financials are in compliance with company policy and US GAAP by establishing, modifying, documenting, and following proper accounting control procedures
  • Maintain vendor royalty and process royalty payment requests
  • Process journal entries and accruals as needed
  • Identify cost efficiency opportunities and take actions to capitalize
  • Assist with managing internal project and CAPEX budgets to actuals
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Strive for continue personal and process improvementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or finance
    • Minimum 2 years of related work experience
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Excel and PeopleSoft Financials
    • Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
    • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentCompensation: Salary commensurate with qualifications.
