Brown's Shoe Fit Co is looking for a Store Franchise Owner Trainee to fill positions in various locations in the Midwest. We are looking for honest, hard working, and outgoing people with manager qualities to work in any one of our stores located across 12 Mid-West States. We are expanding and want good people to join our team! Being a trainee gives you the opportunity to train and become a Manager in one of our other locations. Are not a self-starter Are not a people person Responsibilities Create a business plan and strategy for operations Strategize sales initiatives for high performance Oversee all operations of the business from start to finish Engage proactively with customers and prospects to increase sales Increase brand awareness through advertising and marketing Manage customer relations to improve return customers Screen and interview candidates for job openings Qualifications Proven practical experience in the same business area of operations Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of business management and operations Excellent customer service and ability to build rapport Good negotiation and problem-solving skills Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong business acumen Highly driven and self-motivated for success Able to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision Ability to work long hours at a time sitting and standing Complete a drug screening and background check Possess a driver's license Our stores need articulate and knowledgeable individuals to take over the role of Assistant Store Manager. You'll contribute to the high-energy atmosphere in the store, order merchandise and assist the Manager with any additional tasks that vary from day to day. We promote from within.
