Job Description
The Program Specialist III, under general supervision, performs
administrative support for the Aero/Propulsion Group of the
Aerospace Engineering Department.
Responsibilities:
* Prepares research proposals, budgets, and monitors post-award
spending on all grants and contracts. Makes sure key personnel
commitments on all projects have been met and all spending are
within the guidelines of the project. Determines payroll support
for the PIs and their group. Works as a liaison with program
managers and sponsored projects officers regarding funding. Search
and identify research funding opportunities.
* Advanced professional level administrative program support for
the Aero/Propulsion Group as part of the aerospace engineering
department. Conducts program administrative support for the
activity; plans, coordinates and provides logistical and
administrative support for events, meetings, workshops or other
special functions, including on-site support.
* Coordinates travel arrangements and prepares itineraries.
Completes leave requests and does the expense reports in Concur for
travel. Performs advanced word processing, desktop publishing,
presentation and data management activities. Applies, interprets
and communicates University and TEES Policies and procedures and
serves as a resource for such. Monitors office procedures to
eliminate duplication of effort and to streamline flow of
operations.
* Other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
* Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
Required Experience:
* Three years of related experience.
