HealthPoint is Growing!Employer Paid Benefits: $0 for employeesMedical / Dental / Vision / STD / LTD / Life / AD & DTitle: CMA or RMA FloaterProgram: HealthPoint - Madisonville/Trinity/Centerville RegionBeginning Salary: Based on ExperienceTravel:> 60% applicant will travel to other clinics up to 60 miles from the home clinicHours:Full Time - 8 hours per day, M-FDuties: The primary function of the CMA/RMA is to provide direct and indirect support to the clinician in the delivery of patient care. The CMA/RMA prepares the exam room, chart, and patient to be seen by the practitioner and performs/implements orders for diagnostic tests. S/he accurately administers medications, including immunizations by all routes except IV. S/he routinely arranges outside referral appointments and provides patient education under the direction of the clinician when appropriate. The CMA/RMA must function under the direct supervision of a physician, RN, or midlevel practitioner. The CMA/RMA is expected to consult frequently with the supervising practitioner and to inform the clinician of the information given or actions taken.Education:CMA/RMA Required:Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.Certification Completion as a Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical AssistantCMA/RMA Preferred:Bilingual (Spanish/English)Work Experience:CMA/RMA Required:1-3 months of related experienceCMA/RMA Preferred:3-6 months of related experienceLicenses, Certificates or Registration:CMA/RMA Required:CPR Certification, Current Certification or Registration as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA); Must possess a valid state Driver's license and automobile insurance with reliable transportation.Covid-19 Vaccine Required
