SummaryThis position is located in the Farm Service Agency, Texas State Office, Common Management Price Support Branch, located in College Station, Brazos County, Texas. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities Answers questions concerning State Committee policy, program procedures, forms preparation, completion of reports, and similar issues not requiring interpretation of complex or ambiguous policy. Reviews and summarizes program reports and statistics; identifies errors, omissions, or inconsistencies; contacts submitting offices to obtain late reports, additional data or corrections. Maintains the training files for all County Office Trainees within the State, maintains the COT register, and coordinates COT activities under the direction of the State Training Coordinator. Consolidates County Office data to prepare special and recurring reports. Develops and assembles documents and data to be used in the presentation of program appeal cases to the State Committee or National Appeals Division. Develops, maintains and works with large volumes of data using spreadsheets, databases, and web-based tools. Assists the Program Specialists in assembling information and related material for use in instruction meetings for State and County personnel and presentations made to other governmental agencies, producers, trade organization, and the public. Reviews outgoing correspondence requiring supervisor's signature or the signature of the State Executive Director for accuracy, completeness, and procedural requirements.
