The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, College of
Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M
University seeks to hire up to 3 non-tenure-track temporary
lecturers in internal medicine. The positions will be filled for
dates from December 2020 through March 2021, accounting for up to 6
weeks of clinical rotations.
The successful candidate will devote 100% of their time to
patient care and clinical instruction. Clinical duties will include
supervision of students, technicians and house officers while
providing internal medicine related services, consultation with
other services, emergency coverage, and communication with staff
and faculty to facilitate smooth flow of the service.
The internal medicine service at TAMU has a robust procedural
caseload. Individuals with interest and experience in
interventional and endoscopic procedures are Particularly
encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have the
opportunity to interact with over 50 faculty members in the small
animal hospital, and 35 interns and residents in the other medical
and surgical services in the department.

An applicant must hold a DVM or equivalent veterinary degree and
must be a Diplomate of the American or European Colleges of
Veterinary Internal Medicine. Applicants must be licensed or
eligible for regular or special licenses to practice veterinary
medicine in Texas.
