Accounts Payable - Team Lead Accounts Payable - Team Lead We are excited to extend this opportunity to join our Accounts Payable (AP) team as a Team Lead, where we strive to provide outstanding support to our Clients as a full-scale AP provider. We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Team Lead to guide our outstanding team of associates to meet service level requirements, while providing exemplary service and building meaningful Client relationships. Our Team Lead would have opportunities to motivate and innovate at many levels, and would ideally find fulfillment and exceeding the goals of our company and Client. Must Have Skills: Accounts Payable experience: 6+ years Strong computer skills - Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word to perform reporting Strong analytical and critical thinking Detail oriented Ability to maintain confidentiality People management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Leadership and team building skills Advanced knowledge of HR policies & procedures for administering counseling and performance feedback Desired Skills: Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities/multi-tasking High degree of self-motivation 6+ years supervisory, functional and technical experience in Accounts Payable management and System Administration Job Roles / Responsibilities: Manage daily operations for accurate administration for all Accounts Payable processes. Create and monitor measures of efficiency and quality of transaction processing by the department overall. Advise and assist Account Payable staff in problem resolution as necessary. Oversee and ensure completion of Accounts Payable tasks and requirements Establish and maintain excellent working relationships and proactive communication with clients in all business units and entities supported. Provide professional customer service to the client and vendors through phone conversations or emails. Return and respond to all calls and e-mails daily. Learn new client processes/business practices while managing existing client processes. Create and maintain an environment of openness, teamwork and mutual respect. Manage, coach, motivate, and promote training and development of staff through daily communication supplemented by periodic performance reviews. Conduct quarterly performance reviews for staff. Maintain standard operating procedures and desktop procedures. Facilitate and lead implementation of changes and improvements in systems and processes. Proactively recommend and implement improvements in policies and procedures, with the objective of achieving world-class quality in the delivery of payment services.
