clients. The Technology Department at Dimensional leverages the
rapidly evolving state of the art to engineer platforms powering
the innovative , research-driven financial and technical products
to improve our client’s financial lives. Dimensional's Data
Distribution team is a strategic partnership between the Technology
and Investment Engineering (IE) departments. Our mission is to
provide performance services to drive interactive data analysis
tools. We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to
manage a pivotal group of engineers within the firm. You will lead
a group of data and backend engineers building a modern analytics
platform for our clients. This platform will provide critical
analytical and account launching/management tools to help our
clients manage their businesses. You may be a fit for this role if

engineering and security mindsets. Key Responsibilities Team
Leadership: Lead, mentor and motivate a team of backend engineers,
setting performance goals, fostering a collaborative environment
while overseeing functions focused on data engineering and
data-intensive calculation services . Business Partnership: Act as
a key liaison between engineering and business stakeholders to
translate high-level goals into actionable technical requirements.
End-to-End Execution: Own the full software development lifecycle,
ensuring consistent planning, execution, and high-quality delivery
of complex, integrated engineering projects. Own project
deliverables. Identify risks/challenges/dependencies which may
cause delays and work collaboratively to design mitigation plans
and implement. Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain long-term
technical roadmaps aligned with product goals. Operational
Excellence: Identify resource gaps, process bottlenecks, and
technical debt to proactively optimize team velocity and quality of
output. Strategic Tradeoffs: Negotiate priorities and navigate
competing demands by providing data-driven insights on technical
feasibility and business impact. Communication: Serve as a key
communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring
clarity on priorities, trade-offs, and timelines to ensure
alignment across the organization. Resource Management: Allocate
work effectively to balance time-to-market with system coverage and
stability. Technical Excellence: Collaborate and contribute to
architecture design, incorporating best practices to ensure
data-driven, scalable and maintainable code. Documentation:
Document and present technical artifacts to cross-functional teams
of stakeholders to maintain transparency and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications 10 years of applicable experience in software
engineering 6 years of experience managing people Knowledge of the
python landscape Well-versed in pythonic/idiomatic solution design
Strong understanding of software architecture, programming, and
development methodologies Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a
fast-paced environment Experience in high performance and high
availability applications including expertise in performance
optimization and tuning Experience with automated acceptance
testing Strong understanding of cyber security risks and
demonstrated ability to design highly secure applications
Experience working in a dynamic and interactive team environment to
build world-class software implementations Knowledge of best
practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available
service Experienced in presenting to senior leadership on a
recurring basis Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
with a software development and integration focus LI-Remote
