The ideal candidate will bring culinary experience and demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to safety and quality standards. This role plays a vital part in providing nutritious meals to patients, employees, and visitors. Key Duties: Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, dietary guidelines, and portion requirements. Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff and management to meet mealtime schedules. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering/restocking as needed. Comply with hospital and departmental food preparation standards. Maintain a sanitary, organized, and hazard-free work area. Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: Familiarity with various cooking methods, food handling, and safety protocols. Ability to obtain and maintain Food Safety Certification. Basic math and measuring skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail. Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and remain on feet for extended periods.
