Required Education and Experience:

* High school graduation or any equivalent combination of education and experience
* Two years in general office or clerical work

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Excellent verbal and written skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with others
* Ability to answer multi-line telephone system, screen calls, and route to additional staff as needed
* Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Experience:

* Two years customer service-related experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* 10-key knowledge


* Customer Service - Answers toll-free book order telephone system. Provides customer service support to the business operations department. Retrieves and enters purchase order information into fulfillment database then verifies accuracy before orders are shipped.
* Walk-In Customers - Greets customers. Provides assistance to customers for their book purchases.
* Mail & Payments - Receives, sorts and routes incoming mail. Prepares a daily check log for incoming payments to be deposited. Matches remittances to customers account and outstanding credits.
* Maintain Records and Files - Perform routine filing and manages file retention. Scans files and records, as needed.
* Inventory - Assists with physical inventory counts and reconciliation for 10 presses throughout the year. Performs other duties as assigned.
