Monday-Wednesday: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 12p-10a, 2p-12a, 4p-2a, 8p-6a

Thursday-Sunday: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 2p-12a, 4p-2a, 8p-6a

ABEM - prepared/certified; ACLS/PALS/ATLS

Experience level Experienced, high volume, level II trauma center

Are case logs needed? Yes

Hospital/unit questions

Number of beds? 423 hospital beds; 49 ED beds
Census? 70,000 visits/year
How many daily admissions? 25%
What s the patient population? Urban
Trauma center? Types of cases? Acuity? Trauma level II, 24/7 trauma surgeons on site; Comprehensive Stroke Center; Primary Chest Pain Center

What procedures are required? Standard EM privileges
What are the most common cases the locum will see? Emergency cases
Annual ER admissions? 25%
How many EM physicians are typically on staff per shift? 2-3, single coverage overnight for 4 hours and during the morning for 2 hours
