Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing excellent rehabilitation services at our state-of-the-art facilities. As part of our network, you will work closely with physical therapists to implement patient-specific care plans, contributing to the recovery and well-being of patients after acute events. Ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented, and eager to foster a positive environment that aligns with our core values of quality care and patient satisfaction. Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of patient care plans. Perform therapeutic interventions as directed, including exercises and manual therapy techniques. Document patient progress and report back to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and families about recovery processes and wellness strategies. Maintain equipment and treatment areas. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to execute physical therapy modalities Proficient in the use of medical software for documentation Understanding of compliance with health regulations Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license CPR and First Aid certification preferred
