Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare teams at our state-of-the-art
inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and
hospice agencies. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in
providing high-quality care tailored to the specific needs of
patients undergoing rehabilitation and those requiring expert
nursing care at home. This position will offer the opportunity to
work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals in a
nurturing and dynamic environment, contributing actively to our
mission of delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Assess,
implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with
the healthcare team. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments
as needed. Administer medications and maintain accurate patient
records. Educate patients and their families on treatments and
at-home care strategies. Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and safety standards. Support the healthcare team
through shared knowledge and participation in staff meetings and
in-service training. Proficient in clinical skills with an ability
to handle high-stress situations. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to
detail. Ability to operate medical equipment. Capability to stand
for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state-issued
Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred.
