Job Description HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is
seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing
job in Mexia, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR
- Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours
per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel JA3
Essential Functions: Performs plan of care intervention, including
medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments
as well as other medical care treatment. Documents patient care
given. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as
appropriate to care team, physician, patient and family. Assists
patients with performing activities of daily living, including
personal hygiene elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient
care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and
spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of
patient and/or family and provides patient/family education
appropriate to age, culture, condition and circumstances. Works as
an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the
patient. Facility Requirements: - M-F 8A-4:30P, On call and
weekends may vary - Must have TX RN license - Must have ACLS, BLS &
PALS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
- SURGERY PROCEDURES AND KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO OPERATE STRYKER VIDEO
TOWERS FOR LAPAROSCOPIC PROCEDURES. - This position requires
weekday and weekend call with a hour response time.(May have to
float between 2 facilities - Must 2 years recent have OR RN
experience
