Job Description:
Ascension is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate CT
Tech Travel to join our innovative healthcare team. In this role,
you will support our mission to transform healthcare through
advanced imaging technologies and personalized care. As a part of
our mobile imaging team, you will travel to multiple Ascension
facilities, providing critical diagnostic support and contributing
to optimal health outcomes across our community. This position
demands a professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is
committed to the highest standards of patient care. Operate
computed tomography (CT) machines to capture diagnostic images as
per physician's instructions. Travel to various Ascension
facilities to support imaging needs. Maintain patient comfort and
safety during procedures. Prepare and position patients for CT
scans, applying knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Manage imaging
data and maintain accurate patient records. Ensure the operation of
imaging equipment by completing preventive maintenance,
troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs as needed.
Adhere to all healthcare regulations and practices, maintaining
patient confidentiality and professionalism. Proficient in using CT
imaging technology. Strong understanding of radiation safety and
protection principles. Excellent patient management skills and
comfort with diverse populations. Ability to travel and adapt to
varying clinical environments. Effective communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid certification as a Radiologic
Technologist (ARRT) is mandatory. Additional certification in CT
Technology. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
