Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our team of healthcare professionals in advancing our mission
of providing superior post-acute care. Our network of inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals is focused on patient-centered care,
utilizing innovative treatments to support recovery and enhance the
quality of life for our patients. This role involves direct patient
care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to assess
patient needs, formulate treatment plans, and evaluate patient
responses to care. Assess patient health problems and needs, and
develop and implement nursing care plans. Maintain accurate,
detailed reports and records of patient care, including assessment,
treatment, and responses. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed by physicians in compliance with regulatory standards.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients'
conditions in a timely and comprehensive manner. Instruct patients
and their families on proper treatment plans and health
maintenance. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations
and treatments. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members
to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Proven
ability to operate medical equipment Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Advanced organizational and detail-oriented
skills Capability to handle stressful situations Competency in
applying clinical knowledge regarding assessment, care planning,
and evaluation of patient outcomes Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse licensure
in the practice state Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse
(CRRN) certification preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart
Association or equivalent
