Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals in
providing exceptional care at our inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will
play a crucial role in implementing patient-centered, innovative
treatments designed to restore the maximum level of function to our
patients recovering from illness, surgery, or injury. Our ideal
candidate is committed to healing with a deep understanding of
patient needs and the healthcare landscape. Assess patients' health
problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and
maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured,
convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health
maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients'
conditions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or
provide treatment. Operate medical equipment, administer
medications, and assist with patient rehabilitation. Strong
clinical skills with a focus on rehabilitative care. Proficiency in
using healthcare software and medical records. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to work
effectively in a high-stress environment. Good decision-making and
problem-solving abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state employed. BLS Certification; ACLS Certification
preferred.
