Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based
Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support for
students ranging from Kindergarten through High School. This
contract role is located in Katy, TX, and is available to start on
April 13th, 2026, continuing through the end of the school year
(EOSY). The position is designed to cover a maternity leave and
offers flexibility with hybrid scheduling options, as well as
availability for both part-time and full-time work; full-time
candidates are especially encouraged to apply. Key
Responsibilities: Collaborate with educators and staff to support
students functional performance in classroom settings across
multiple grade levels, including 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Deliver
individualized occupational therapy services to assist students in
developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive
behaviors. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and
maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and
federal regulations. Participate in individualized education
program (IEP) team meetings to ensure students needs are accurately
addressed and goals are met. Provide guidance and training to
teachers and support staff to promote effective therapeutic
strategies in educational environments. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in
school settings. Experience working with a variety of grade levels,
from Kindergarten through high school. Strong communication and
collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents,
and educators. Ability to work in-person with options for a hybrid
schedule to accommodate different needs. Location: Katy, Texas This
