Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients within the correctional facility. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records of patient therapy and treatment. Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention in the correctional setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, ensuring optimal patient care and compliance with all safety protocols. Participate in continuous education to improve patient care and nursing practices. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle high-stress situations Adept at multitasking and prioritizing Proficient in using medical software and record-keeping tools Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas BLS/CPR certification required Experience in correctional facility healthcare is a plus but not mandatory
