Job Description Job Description Job Title: Radiation Therapist Specialty: Radiation Therapy Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible) Shift: Day Shift – Monday through Friday Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (shift times may vary based on department needs) Job Location: Houston, TX Job Description We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to support a busy oncology department. The therapist will be responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments, performing simulations, and assisting with patient care management in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and medical physicists. Key Responsibilities Simulate treatment setups and assist with treatment planning processes Perform and verify dosimetric calculations as required Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment Monitor patient responses to treatment and report concerns appropriately Educate patients on treatment plans and address questions or concerns Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and treatments Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Requirements Radiation Therapist certification/license (as required by state regulations) Recent experience with LINAC-based radiotherapy (required) Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and procedures Excellent communication and patient care skills For more details reach at vgill@navitassols.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1203 .
