Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – TexasStart Date: February 16, 2026Location: Kingwood, TexasCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: Day or night shift available; every other weekend as scheduled; unit huddle begins at 6:45 AM (day shift) and 6:45 PM (night shift)Highlights: 36-bed Medical/Surgical unit with IMU overflow capacity- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 with dedicated charge nurse and PCT support- Meditech EMR system utilized throughout facility- Multidisciplinary rounds conducted daily at 10:00 AM- Equipment includes computer on wheels, EKG machines, defibrillators, telemetry monitors, and tube feeding pumps- Royal blue scrubs dress codeRequirements: Active Texas RN license- ACLS and BLS certifications required- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills- Proficiency in medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy- Electronic health record (EHR) experience required- Medical/Surgical experience strongly preferred- IMU experience is a plus- Ability to perform IV starts, Foley insertions, NG tube insertions, staple removal, continuous bladder irrigation, and pre/post-op careWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This position offers the chance to work on a well-staffed unit with a collaborative team environment that values adaptability and teamwork.
