find a qualified PICU RN in Austin, Texas, 73301! Job Opportunity –
Registered Nurse (PICU) – Texas Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified
applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 13-week
contract; includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; no call
required Highlights: 6-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with
small, close-knit team environment Patient ratios: 2:1 (ICU), or 1
ICU/2 IMC, or 1 ICU/2 Med-Surg per RN Electronic Medical Record:
Meditech Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps and ventilators
CLABSI/CAUTI free since 2014 – recognized for outstanding infection
control 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement on
day shift Requirements: Current RN license PALS and BLS
certifications required Previous PICU experience including
ventilators and drips NICU experience preferred 1-2 years of PICU
experience highly preferred Navy scrubs required; no artificial
