This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical units and the optimal care of our patients during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision and commitment to patient care, functioning as an integral part of the surgical team. Setting up sterile surgical fields, preparing tools and equipment for surgery Assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures by passing instruments and other sterile supplies Ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are functioning properly before and during surgeries Maintaining a sterile environment to prevent contamination during surgical procedures Counting sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation Assisting in the preparation and transfer of patients Completing all necessary documentation related to surgery and patient health records Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques Excellent understanding of surgical operation procedures and instruments Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure Effective communication and teamwork skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
