Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. Our facilities, ranging from inpatient rehabilitation hospitals to home health agencies, provide a diverse array of clinical settings in which our respiratory therapists play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and advancing our commitment to exceptional care. The ideal candidate will assist in the treatment and management of patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders, assessing patient condition, designing treatment plans, and effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Assess and monitor patient respiratory conditions through diagnostic tests. Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans. Perform therapeutic procedures to maintain a clear airway, including the management of ventilation and oxygen therapy. Educate patients and families on managing respiratory illnesses. Maintain patient charts and confidential files. Proficiency in ventilator management Strong diagnostic and patient care skills Ability to operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Active state license as a Respiratory Therapist
