Job Description:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be an integral part of our
patient-focused team, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of
diverse conditions through the use of sophisticated radioactive
drug tracing techniques. This position requires a detail-oriented
and compassionate individual who is ready to advance their career
in a supportive and innovative environment. Prepare, administer,
and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and
tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. Perform
patient imaging procedures in accordance with departmental
protocols. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
when handling radioactive materials for patient diagnosis and
treatment. Provide detailed explanations to patients about
procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation. Process data
and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
Document and maintain accurate patient records for all procedures.
Implement radiation safety measures to ensure safety of patients
and staff. Maintain and perform routine daily inspection of
equipment to ensure proper operation and calibration. In-depth
knowledge of nuclear medicine technology and procedures. Ability to
operate complex equipment and machinery. Strong understanding of
radiopharmaceuticals and their safe handling. Exceptional
communication skills for effective patient interaction. Capability
to interpret results and technical data. Critical thinking and
problem-solving abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the Nuclear
Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine.
State licensure as required.
