An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings. This contract role involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac surgery environment. The assignment requires working in two CVOR rooms and one hybrid OR, collaborating closely with surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Location: Bastrop, LA Responsibilities include: Assisting in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures. Preparing and managing the operating room and equipment before, during, and after surgery. Monitoring patient status and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards. Supporting hybrid OR procedures alongside traditional CVOR cases. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state. Minimum of two years experience in CVOR nursing preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Proficiency with cardiac surgery procedures and hybrid OR environments. Ability to function efficiently within a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
