Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist
(X-Ray Tech) to join our Imaging Department at Baylor Scott & White
College Station Medical Center. This full-time evening shift
opportunity offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, a consistent weekday
schedule, and the chance to work in a supportive, patient-focused
hospital environment. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will
perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams for ambulatory and
hospital patients, supporting accurate diagnosis and exceptional
patient care. What You’ll Do - Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray)
procedures according to established exam protocols. - Maintain high
standards of image quality, positioning, and exposure accuracy. -
Demonstrate knowledge of radiation dose reference levels,
monitoring, and follow-up actions when thresholds are exceeded. -
Communicate clearly with patients using AIDET principles to explain
exams and ensure comfort. - Prepare and position patients properly
using immobilization devices and correct exposure settings. -
Adhere to all radiation safety, infection control, and sterile
technique policies. - Maintain imaging equipment and workspaces to
meet quality and cleanliness standards. - Collaborate with
engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance. -
Verify and document requisitions, patient history, pregnancy
screening, shielding, and consent forms. - Upload and maintain
imaging records within PACS and EMR systems according to
departmental workflows. - Provide excellent patient service by
minimizing wait times and maintaining professionalism. -
Participate in call rotation, if required. Key Success Factors -

Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Experience: Less than 1 year required; hospital experience
preferred - Certification / Licensure: - ARRT (R) – Radiography -
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic
Technologist (MRT) - BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)
