Details Specialty: Spine Surgery Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am
- 5pm Call Schedule: Some evening and weekend call, rotated between
10 APPs Practice Detail: position supports 5 surgeons EMR System:
Cerner/Compass Location: Austin, TX This job location is not

the offer. Responsibilities As a PA or APRN in Spine Surgery, you
will work closely with the surgeons to evaluate pre-operative and
post-operative spine surgery patients in the clinic and the
hospital, as well as first assist in the operating room. Position
Highlights: Call pay RNFA certification required for APRNs Acute
Care Certification is preferred for all NPs Combined Input/Output
position Main locations: Ascension Seton Medical Center, Dell
Children's Medical Center, and Texas Spine and Scoliosis Center
Clinic Responsibilities: Obtains patient history and performs
assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health
conditions. Provides counseling and education of patients and their
families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment
options and community resources. Performs preventative health
assessments, screening, immunizations and care. About Ascension

Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider
obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross
accepted. Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas
Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
required. Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
(NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red
Cross accepted preferred. Education: Graduate of accredited
Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred. Work
Experience: 1 year of experience preferred. Additional Preferences
