TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Conroe, Texas, 77304! Pay Information $1,934 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: 2 years of labor and delivery experience Experience circulating c-sections Description: This is a Labor and Delivery unit. It has 8 labor, delivery, and recovery beds. There are 2 operating rooms and 1 recovery room. The unit is staffed by approximately 30 personnel. The delivery volume is between 100-125 deliveries each month. The provider mix includes obstetricians, midwives, and family practice providers. During the day shift, the typical staff consists of 1 charge nurse, 2-6 registered nurses, 1 surgical tech, and 1 unit secretary. During the night shift, there is 1 charge nurse, 2-4 registered nurses, and 1 surgical tech. Patient ratios are 1:1-2 for laboring patients and 1:3 for stable antepartum patients. The unit is equipped with labor beds, GE fetal monitors, Monica telemonitors, and Panda warmers. The electronic medical record system in use is CPN and Meditech. Ideal candidates will have experience with newborn transition and mother-baby care. Preferred skills include scrub experience. Typical procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, triage, and c-sections with recovery.
