Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse
to join their team in a corrections setting. This role requires a
commitment to providing high---quality care in a fast---paced
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
--- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within a
correctional facility.
--- Respond to medical emergencies and provide necessary
treatment.
--- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient
care.
--- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Start Dates: Orientations are held on weekends once the candidate
is cleared by credentialing.
Shift: Nights, -1800-0630
Hours per week: 36/48 --- rotations are not guaranteed but 36 hours
each week is. Flexibility is required.
Overtime: Eligibility to work overtime is available contingent on
performance and based on call---ins, punctuality, and unexcused
absences.
Float Requirements: Candidates may be asked to float as needed to
different units within a 50---mile radius.
Scheduling: 4 weeks block booking by the 20th. The work week is
Saturday - Friday.
Qualifications:
--- Current BLS certification.
--- Compact or Texas RN license.
--- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
--- At least 1 year of Acute Care or Med Surg experience.
--- Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing and/or Psych is a
plus.

COVID Vaccine Requirement: Required but exemptions are
accepted.
Compensation: Competitive travel pay package offered.
Bonus: $200 Sign---on Bonus, upon completion of required modules
and starting assignment.
