Our Medical Unit consists of 18 beds & has a phenomenal leadership team & great overall culture!POSITION SUMMARYPerforms components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist; assist physical therapists in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease.Benefits of Being a Therapist with Us: -

  • Instructs, motivates and Assists patients to learn and improve functional activity, such as pre-ambulation, transfer, ambulation and daily living activities
  • Assesses, and compiles data on patients' responses to treatments
  • Fit patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices
  • Encourages the active participation of the patient and/or family in goal setting and patient/family training/educationQualifications
    • Associate's Degree from an approved program for Physical Therapist AssistantsCurrent Texas State Licensure (PTA)American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification
    • PTA:MA
    • BLS-CPR
