multiple Psychologist positions with the Telebehavioral Care team
for the Texas A&M Telehealth Institute. A Psychologist in
Telebehavioral Care is responsible for collaboratively working in
an interdisciplinary mental health care team of clinicians and
trainees. These positions will primarily be responsible for the
provision of mental health services via telehealth, while also
training and supervising Master/Doctoral level students, engaging
in applied research, and program coordination. These positions
require a doctorate acceptable to the Texas State Board of
Examiners (TSPEB) and post-licensure experience. How much
post-licensure experience is required is dependent on the level of
the position. Preferred experience includes experience in community
mental health, schools, interdisciplinary care, and telehealth
modalities.What you need to knowSalary: Compensation will be
commensurate to selected hires experience.In accordance with the

Education and Experience:Doctorate in Counseling Psychology,
Clinical Psychology, or other degree acceptable to the Texas State
Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP)One year full-time
supervised internship in college or university counseling center or
other relevant setting, pre-doctoral internship preferably APA
accreditedRequired Licenses and Certifications:Eligible for
licensure in the State of Texas as a Licensed PsychologistBecome
licensed in Texas as a Psychologist within one year from date of
employmentMust maintain licensure for continued
employmentPsychologist II QualificationsRequired Education and
Experience:Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology,
or other degree acceptable to the Texas State Board of Examiners of
Psychologists (TSBEP)One-year full-time post-licensure experience
in multidisciplinary or other relevant settingRequired Licenses and
Certifications:Licensed in the State of Texas as a psychologist.
Become licensed in Texas as a Psychologist within one year from

licensure for continued employmentJob Responsibilities (All
Positions)Provides telehealth counseling as well as crisis
intervention to individuals, couples, and groupsMeets ethical
obligations for timely documentation of counseling services per
State of Texas licensure requirements and Counseling &
Psychological Services policiesEngages in telecounseling related
activities including administering and interpreting psychological
tests/inventories, making referrals, and managing various
organizational and administrative aspects of counseling
casesProvides consultation to faculty, staff, students, and
parentsSeeks consultation from peers and leadership for difficult
clinical cases per State of Texas licensure requirementsProvides
outreach presentations for students, faculty, and staff members
about counseling services, programs, professional development
topics, issues, etc.Per state licensure requirements, participates
in continuing education and professional development activities
related to the performance of job functions and maintenance of
skills in ones professional specialty areaServes on departmental
committees and meetings, division and university committees, and
other university functionsAssists with organizational and
administrative tasks, as requestedParticipates in weekly
supervision including review of recorded sessions and case
reviewMay provide supervision for Master/Doctoral level students in
Counseling and Counseling Psychology, and adjunct supervision for
Doctoral internsEngages in applied research and evaluation
activitiesPublishes and/or disseminates the results of research and
