Job Description:Believe Therapies is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals of all ages overcome communication and swallowing disorders. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience or an interest in pediatric speech-language pathology.
Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of each client/patient.
Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills, articulation, fluency, and swallowing abilities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Educate and guide family members on strategies and techniques to facilitate speech and language development at home.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of treatment progress and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Qualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state license/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience or interest in pediatric speech-language pathology is highly desired.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to create and execute individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Knowledge of current research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
