something better! Current Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)
Department: Labor and Delivery Schedule: Full Time, Night Shift
(7pm-7am). This department is self-scheduling. Schedules are sent
out 6 weeks at a time. Baylor Scott and White Medical Center-
College Station is a five story, 143 bed hospital located on a
98-acre campus near the intersection of Texas Highway 6 and Rock
Prairie Road. The College Station medical center is a certified
Advanced Primary Stroke Center and a certified Chest Pain Center as
well as a Level III Trauma Center. The NICU department has achieved
the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) designation
equipped with NICVIEW video monitors and are the only Level III
NICU in the Brazos Valley. Additionally, The College Station Region
has achieved the American Nurses Credentialing Center Pathway to
Excellence Designation and are on their journey to Magnet. The
Labor and Delivery department at Baylor Scott and White-College
Station provides a warm, caring, and relaxing atmosphere during the
birthing process. The spacious labor and delivery birthing suites
allow for care to be brought to laboring mothers and their baby.
After delivery, mothers and babies are cared for together in our
Couplet Care environment. Babies remain with their mothers in this
family-centered unit, receiving their nursing care together,
promoting education and building confidence for new mothers. Baylor
Scott & White Medical Center - College Station has received Texas
Ten Step Program facility designation for improving the health of
newborns and infants. This program encourages breastfeeding as the
preferred method of feeding for newborns and infants. New mothers
receive additional support through on demand educational videos and
lactation support 7 days a week. This department also provides care
to post-op GYN patients. We welcome applicants who will serve

Program - MAJOR - Nursing - EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience -
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN) Basic
Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
