CHI St. Joseph Health Grimes Hospital is located in Navasota TX and is a 25 bed critical access hospital. Our Medical Unit consists of 18 beds & has a phenomenal leadership team & great overall culture! Responsibilities

In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend. Medical Acute Unit Nursing Expectations

• -Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients
• -Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations -
• -Medication administration
• Proficiency with Cardiac Monitoring

  Required Skills:

• -Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma. - - -
• One (1) or more years of nursing experience
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS)(AHA) with skills demonstration Preferred Skills: - - -
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • One (1) or more years of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred #STJOERN Pay Range
    $28.50 - $43.46 /hour
