Responsibilities

In this role, your patients will be critically -ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend. Telemetry Observation Unit Nursing Expectations

• Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients
• Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations -
• Medication administration
• Proficiency with Cardiac Monitoring

  Required Education/Ceritifications:
  • ADN or Diploma (plus five (5) years of RN experience OR BSN (plus at least three (3) years of RN experience)
  • BLS -
  • ACLS
  • Current, Approved National Certification : https://www.nursingworld.org/organizational-programs/magnet/accepted-certifications
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
    Required Experience:
    • 5 Years of RN experience for ADN
    • 3 Years of RN experience for BSN
    • Demonstrated competence in a Registered Nurse II role or meets experience requirements upon hire. #STJOERN Pay Range
      $28.50 - $43.46 /hour
