Five-star ratings have been earned in coronary intervention procedures and carotid surgery.
Our expertise, passion, and resources add up to a cardiac catheterization lab like no other. Our expert heart care staff includes cardiologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, nutrition specialists (dietitians), physical therapists, social workers, and others trained and experienced in heart disease treatment. Our cath lab has the following certifications:

  • TJC certification for AMi at both locations.
  • Primary Stroke Center at both locations
  • We do treat with mechanical thrombectomy at the Bryan campus and this procedure is done in the cath lab
    Responsibilities
    We have an exciting opportunity for a Cath Lab Nurse in our flourishing cath labs! You won't find a more compassionate care team and we would love for you to be a part of expanding the program.The Cath Lab Nurse position will cover 2 locations in Bryan and College Station with a total of 6 cath labs and Interventional Radiology.In this role we are looking for nurses that can put patient care at the forefront, wear many hats, have a positive attitude and really want to learn! We see a variety of cases at both locations that will help you grow your skill sets, including cardiac, EP, peripheral, neuro, carotid stenting, trauma and interventional radiology.The Cath lab nurse assists the team in performing these procedures. Nurses complete pre- and post-procedure assessments, circulate, monitor, & assess during the procedure, as well as provide medication management and assist the team as necessary during the procedure.What you'll need:
    • Passion for excellence in delivering quality care to our patients
    • Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients
    • Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations
    • Medication administration
    • Willingness to learn and grow skill sets
      Qualifications
      Required
      • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in Texas
      • Graduate of an accredited nursing program: Associates Degree in Nursing
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) requiredPreferred
        • 1 year of Registered Nurse experience preferred
        • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
        • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
        • Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
        • Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification (CVRN)
