Location: Brenham, TX Description: Judge Healthcare is currently seeking a -Registered Nurse (RN) -for one of our biggest clients in Brenham, TX!-Location: Brenham, TX 77833-Start Date: ASAP-Length of Job: 6 month contracts with extensions afterwards-Shift times: 2nd (1:45 p.m.-10:15 p.m), 3rd (9:45 p.m.-6:15 a.m) - shifts available with a 30 minute break -Job Description: -Provide for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals who have complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues. Performs basic and advanced routine and non-routine nursing tasks to promote the health of the individuals -Responsibilities: -

• Administers medications and treatments -
• Performs technical Nursing procedures according to facility and state regulations after demonstration for competency, i.e., tracheostomy care, gastrostomy/jejunotomy care, wound care, breathing treatments. -
• Must be competent in use of all medical equipment, after competency is demonstrated.
• Documents and reports pertinent observations.
• Able to recognize symptoms of illness and report accurately to RN and/or Primary Care Provider. -
• Collects specimens for laboratory examination and conducts appropriate screening tests (after competency is documented) when requested by lab -Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Active and unencumbered TX license
