Seidel Schroeder, a regional CPA firm, is seeking full time Tax
Managers to join our team in our Brenham and College Station
offices. The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of the
practice and will help drive the growth of the firm. This position
also provides work direction and technical guidance to less
experienced staff. The Tax Manager is expected to possess
exceptional communication skills allowing for relationship building
at all levels and must be able to work independently and in teams
to accomplish a goal. Individuals who thrive will exhibit the

emotional intelligence, executive presence, growth mindset, and
results focus. Job Requirements, Skills & Knowledge Minimum of 5
years of experience of tax compliance work. CPA license preferred.
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Researching tax issues to solve problems and develop effective tax
planning strategies. Must have the ability to develop and maintain
client relationships. Communicating complex tax issues to non-tax
professionals and clients. Managing, coaching and developing a team
of tax professionals, reviewing work and helping to confirm they
have the knowledge, tools and opportunities they need to excel.
Must be able to work independently. This position will work
directly with clients, firm partners and team members. Seidel
Schroeder is regional accounting firm in south central Texas.
