And our site is nestled in the hub of innovation, representing a source of pride for the area.Summary: - Under direct supervision, the Materials Management Specialist I is responsible for supporting receiving, ordering, shipping, general warehousing, and internal distribution of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and non-GMP materials in support of company operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the accurate receipt, picking and issuing of material in support of manufacturing, quality, and operational needs
  • Assist in the inspection, segregation, and labeling of incoming materials and ensure accurate inventory level to support manufacturing requirements
  • Perform system transactions and ensure the timely and accurate order fulfillment, documentation, closure of outstanding issues and effective inventory system
  • Comply with safe handling and storage requirements, cGMP/ISO, local & corporate policies, and environmental/other related regulations
  • Ensure proper function of equipment used to support warehousing operation.
  • Assist in performing cycle counting and inventory audits.
  • All other duties as required.Required Skills & Abilities:

      • Must be able to work weekends, off-shifts, overtime, and a rotating on-call schedule, as required
      • Handle and work with hazardous materials and chemicals per OSHA guidelines.
      • Experience prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
      • Use hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment is required.
      • Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted and up to 60 pounds with assistance.
      • Work in cold, hot, and humid temperatures and/or high places.
      • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
      • Wear required PPE.
      • Attendance is mandatory.Minimum Qualifications:
        • High school diploma with at least (1) one year of work experience.Preferred Qualifications:
          • Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
