Center (HSC) is looking for a Project Manager I to serve as a
member of the Clinical Strategy team. We desire an individual who
subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The
successful applicant will bring their experience to the position
and understand the demands of supporting the department in a
fast-paced environment. This person must be professional, enjoy
working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong
organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine.

team.Required Education and Experience:* Bachelor's degree in
related field. An equivalent combination of education and
experience may be considered.* Three years of related experience.*
Experience preparing and monitoring budgets.* Project management.*
Tracking grant progress reports.* Excellent organizational and
communications skills.* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office,
keyboarding, teleconferencing.Required Licenses and
Certifications:* Requires a driver licenseRequired Special
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Ability to multi-task and work
cooperatively with others.Preferred Experience:* Experience working
with diverse individuals and communities.* Familiarity with public
health and community health improvement initiatives.* Knowledge of
not-for-profit healthcare foundations and awards.Responsibilities:*
Demonstrate good team building skills.* Actively facilitate and
participate in project coalition team meetings.* Readily volunteer
to assist fellow coalition team members as needed.* Promote
constructive formal and informal information sharing and
interdisciplinary collaboration.* Tracks grant progress reports.*
Manages project portfolios in line with business strategies and in
accordance with project management standards.* Under direct
supervision, coordinate and oversee the planning phase of project
implementation using the Project Implementation Process.*
Coordinate the transition from Project Evaluation to Project
Implementation.* Organize Team Resources, including Project Teams
and Work Groups, as needed.* Develop high-level project plan and
achieve buy in on task responsibilities and timelines from the
appropriate team members.* Define communications, issue management
and scope management strategy and achieve approval from the
appropriate team members.* Solicit input from appropriate staff to
evaluate cross-system impact.* Evaluate project risks and develop
contingency plans, as appropriate.* Define project objectives and
define success measurements.* Develop and communicate appropriate
project documentation, including project overview, scope, team
structure, status reports, issues management reports, change
control reports, meeting notes, etc. as required and in a timely
manner.* Institute the design phase of the Project Implementation
Process.* Coordinate development and approval of appropriate
requirements and design documentation.* Ensure Approval of
developed requirements and design.* Manages project quality control
and assurance.* Complete close out phase of Project Implementation
Process.* Ensure team consensus of project completion.* Complete
project closes out documentation, especially Lessons Learned.*
Coordinate both execution and monitoring/controlling phases of
Project Implementation Process.* Coordinate development of detailed
go live plan.* Assist and monitor implementation of project plan.*
Facilitate monitoring issues and assist with control execution if
project course corrections are required.* Establishes goals for
project delivery. Applies current best practices in vendor
selection, contract negotiation, and project lifecycle.* With
direct supervision, serve as project leader, to ensure timely
completion of project tasks in line with project and enterprise
objectives.* Coordinate and lead steering committee, project team
and work group meetings, as required.* Manage and communicate
project status to team members and executive staff, including
management of project website, consistent status reporting and
presentations.* Identify, document and manage project issues and
escalate, as appropriate, to achieve timely resolution.* Ensure
compliance with regulatory agencies including meeting deadlines,
when applicable.* Ensure integrity and security of institutional
data.* Actively identify and participate in training, education and
development activities to improve own knowledge and performance to
sustain and enhance professional development.* Keep up-to-date on
project management software systems, practices and technological
developments, as appropriate.* Prepare and monitors budgets.*
Provides input on designated budget that usually has a minor impact
on financial revenue and expenses.* Demonstrate good team building
skills.* Actively facilitate and participate in project coalition
team meetings.* Readily volunteer to assist fellow coalition team
members as needed.* Promote constructive formal and informal
information sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration.* Performs
