It is the CED's mission to educate and empower transformational leaders for a global society.What we wantThe Program Manager, under direction of Associate Director, is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing day-to-day activities, developing and implementing procedures for the administration of the executive education programs delivered by the Center for Executive Development.   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years of related experience in program management/administration including event coordinationRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize own work, multi-task, and manage last-minute needs and changes gracefully
    • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects

    • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team
    • Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation skills
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-dimensional work environment with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and consistency
    • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with industry professionals
    • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with othersPreferred Education and Experience:
      • Master's Degree
      • Program management of executive education programs
      • Experience with website/online portals
      • Experience working with high-level executives and industry professionalPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient in video conferencing platforms including Zoom and Microsoft TeamsResponsibilities:
          • Program Planning - Under direction from Associate Directors, plan program calendar annually (working with hotel availability, CED availability, university calendar, and other holidays). Maintain CED calendars for seminar rooms; specifically, assigning programs to virtual classroom and/or F2F classroom as required. Oversee adequacy of materials, necessary training aids, and learning journals.
          • Client Communication - Maintain client-specific website(s), including online registration and follow-up communication for respective clients. Communicate with clients for offsite and international programs to arrange program-related logistics, instructors' visas/travel details, enrollment of participants, shipment of materials, etc. as needed. Correspond with program participants before, during, and after the program. Serve as point of contact for participants while they are attending program.
          • Program Development - Under direction from Associate Directors/Executive Directors, develop topics and modify program curriculum as needed. Identify proposed speakers and contract for specific program hours; coordinate curriculum and class schedules with faculty. Evaluate speakers, subjects, and programs. Provide timely feedback to all presenters to assist them in reaching objectives.
          • Virtual Classroom Production - Participate in program production via weConnect software in CED seminar room as needed.
          • Program Logistics - Book hotel rooms, catering, transportation, midweek dinner, photographer, and Rec Center access for programs in College Station. Arrange for other vendors (videography, academic simulations, etc.) for programs as needed.
          • Business Development - Communicate with prospective CED clients and travel to meet with them as needed. Develop proposals, cost sheets, and curriculum for prospective/current clients as needed.
          • Student Supervision - Assist with supervising 12-14 student workers on daily tasks.
