Assistant General Manager

To manage all day to day operations of your restaurant when your General Manager is not at the store. To maximize overall guests experiences while running your shift. To support the General Manager in anything needed at your restaurant. Assistant General Managers will be required to enforce all company and government policies and communicate any policy changes to their employees on their shift.
General Purpose
To support your General Manager while your General Manager is not at the store. To satisfy each and every guest that comes to our restaurant.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• 
  Work varying shifts from week to week
• 
  Must be available on your days off
• 
  Monitor and address guests complaints on your shift
• 
  Monitor all paid outs, voids and refunds on your shift
• 
  Keep all controls in line during your shift (Food cost, Labor cost etc---)
• 
  Communicate with your General Manager in regards to repairs and equipment
• 
  Maintain office supply levels up to par on a monthly basis
• 
  Create par levels for the beer in your store and have orders done weekly
• 
  Assist in keeping your restaurant fully staffed and minimize turnover
• 
  Conduct employee interviews
• 
  Monitor employee's performance which include performance reviews and ongoing feedback
• 
  Work towards accomplishing team and company goals
• 
  Delegate appropriate work duties to Team Members
• 
  Complete daily, midday and closing checklists on a regular basis
• 
  Follow current business processes and systems
• 
  Review and correct Surveys and QSC's issues with your Team Members
• 
  Follow, maintain and enforce uniform standards at your store
• 
  Be in charge of Manager Log book and ensure it is being used daily
• 
  Continuously train employees on your shift daily
• 
  Assist in counting inventory weekly or when needed at your store
• 
  Complete all paperwork on a daily/weekly basis
• 
  Check all prepped food dates daily
• 
  Enforce all sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness
• 
  Be a problem solver
• 
  Deliver superior service in a clean restaurant with the highest quality food possible
• 
  Ensure Team Members have up to date TABC, Serve Safe and Food Handlers certifications
• 
  Submit all new hire packets and terminations to HR promptly
