General Description: Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs
on vehicles, focusing on lubrication, fluid checks, and basic
inspections. and assisting the maintenance department as needed All
technicians will be issues a 2-way radio, Tablet, and tools.
Required to carry a radio at all times so they can be contacted.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Fluid Management: Draining and
replacing oil, checking and topping off other fluids (like brake
fluid, power steering fluid, coolant), and ensuring proper fluid
levels. Workorder Management: performing all assigned workorders
daily through the FIIX app. Filter Replacement: Replacing oil
filters, air filters, and other filters as needed. Tire
Maintenance: Checking tire pressure, adding air, and performing
tire rotations. Basic Inspections: Conducting visual inspections of
vehicles to identify potential issues and safety concerns. Minor
Repairs: Performing basic repairs, such as replacing light bulbs,
fuses, or windshield wipers. Lubrication: Lubricating moving parts,
including those in the engine and wheel bearings. Customer Service:
Explaining services and repair options in FIIX. Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of service and repair work performed
in the FIIX system. Safety: Adhering to safety procedures and
regulations. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Be able to work in a team
environment. Self-starter and highly motivated. Knowledge of
general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of
tools, common appliances and devices Ability to read a tape measure
and other precision measuring tools. Manual dexterity and
problem-solving skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of
methods, tools, and equipment of the trade. Detailed knowledge of
the principles of internal combustion engines and automotive
components, including auto-electric, hydraulic, and mechanical
systems Above average mechanical aptitude. Excellent mathematical
aptitude. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to stand, twist, and walk. Must be able to use various
hand tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms climb or balance
on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch or crawl. The
noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee
must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Assist at time
with medium to heavy manual and physical labor. Be able to work at
heights in excess of 50’. Work overtime as needed. WORKING
CONDITIONS: Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements.
Moderate to high risk of safety precautions. Moderate to high
exposure to production environment. Wet, hot, humid, and wintry
conditions (weather related) (plant specific) Ability to work
