We’re looking for a highly skilled Automotive Technician with deep experience in vehicle flashing, programming, and advanced diagnostics to join a shop that values excellence, integrity, and continual growth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform OEM-level vehicle programming, flashing, coding, and module configuration Diagnose complex electrical, network, and drivability issues Utilize factory and aftermarket scan tools for bi-directional testing and software updates Reprogram modules following repairs or replacements (ECMs, TCMs, BCMs, ADAS, etc.) Stay current with evolving vehicle technology, software updates, and OEM procedures Collaborate with service advisors and leadership to ensure accurate diagnostics and efficient repairs Qualifications Qualifications: 5 years of professional automotive repair experience (A-level preferred) Proven experience with vehicle programming, flashing, and module coding Strong understanding of automotive networks, electronics, and diagnostics Proficiency with OEM and aftermarket scan tools (factory tools a plus) Ability to research service information and follow OEM programming protocols ASE Certifications preferred (especially L1 or Electrical/Advanced Diagnostics) Clean driving record and valid driver’s license Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools Walk/stand for the majority of their workday Drive manual transmissions vehicles Efficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
