Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION If you are a Welder looking for
an opportunity to grow and develop professionally, Emerson has an
exciting opportunity for you! Based in Brenham, TX you will perform
manual-, semi-automatic-, and robotic welding of process
connections to common assembly's, according to our quality
requirements, specifications, and certification requirements.
Currently offering Hire bonus: $1,000 paid out after 90 days of
employment Shift differential: /n - 2nd - $1.00 /n - 3rd (Weekend)
- $2.00 /n /n In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: /n -
Welds production and more difficult prototype instrumentation piece
parts and specialized customer requests in various materials
including stainless steel, precious and semi-precious metals using
various types of welding processes which may include TIG and /or
MIG /n - Welds on high cost, precious materials such as high nickel
content Alloy, Monel, Tantalum for special production needs and
maintains certification in these specialized product areas /n -
Provides welding expertise support to other welders /n - May train
other welders to help them acquire necessary certification /n -
Advises Engineering on technical welding aspects of new units and
fixtures including set-ups /n - Trouble shoots problem-welding
areas /n - Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing
based on certification requirements per individual product /n -
Must maintain individual welding qualification and certification
per product requirements, which ranges from annual certification to
ongoing qualification based on percentage of product volume /n -
Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype
piece parts /n - Defines equipment settings based on specific
product needs and establishes process parameters /n /n Who You Are:

Need: /n - A minimum of 3 years of welding experience OR Verified
completion of a Welding certificate program and a minimum one (1)
year of welding experience /n - Proficient in English (reading and
writing) /n - Ability to complete basic math functions
(addition/subtraction/multiplication/division) /n - Ability to read
and understand production shop orders and instructions /n - Ability
to lift up to 40 pounds intermittently /n - Ability to sit and
stand daily up to 10 hours /n - Legal authorization to work in the
United States - Sponsorship will not be provided /n /n Preferred
Qualifications That Set You Apart: /n - High School diploma or
General Equivalency Degree (GED) /n - Experience in precision
instrument welding is preferred /n - Basic computer skills /n -
