Job DescriptionGeneral Summary of PositionRepair and maintain
all equipment and machines in the plant.Essential
Functions(Essential functions, as defined under the American with
Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge,
skills, and other characteristics. This list of tasks is
illustrative ONLY and is not comprehensive listing of all function

- Possess medium range troubleshooting skill for pneumatic and
hydraulic Press and DG89 control circuits.
- Able to determine hazards in work area and correct them.
- Repair and maintain all equipment and machines including
hammers, presses, furnaces, cranes, compressors, boilers, cleaning
machines, fans, hoists, air grinders, B/D grinders, wheelabrators
and heat treat equipment.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring
problems to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, Group Leaders,
Safety/Environmental Manager, or HR Manager.
- Follow daily Procedures and Protocols as set forth in job
orientations and trainings.
- Perform mechanical inspection of machinery.
- Know basic rigging skills.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and
Other Characteristics
- Ability to understand all procedures.
- Ability to make lower level decisions that pertain to your job.
An error in judgment would cause major downtime and result in lost
revenue, faulty equipment, or injury to employees.
- Ability to operate overhead cranes, man lifts, backhoes, pipe
threaders and forklifts.
- Must be able to do smaller task with little or no help from a
level 3 employee.
- Have medium range troubleshooting skills, i.e, basic hydraulic,
pneumatic, controls.Physical Work Activities and Exposure
- Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions,
including rain and extreme heat.
- The noise level is usually loud.
- Use of hands to handle or operate objects, tools or
controls.
- Due to the heavy work environment a reasonable accommodation
could not be met.Qualifications
- No Education is required.
- Must be able to read and write English
- No experience required. One year in machinery maintenance is
