Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A specialized opportunity is available for two
dedicated Special Education Teachers to support elementary students
in a contract role in Killeen, TX. This position offers meaningful
work within elementary school settings, focusing on distinct areas
of special education that cater to young learners developmental and
academic needs. Position One: Early Childhood Special Education
Teach 3- and 4-year-old students in an early childhood special
education classroom. Manage a small caseload of four students with
the assistance of three paraprofessionals. Provide personalized
support involving toileting and diapering, requiring prior
experience in these areas. Position Two: Alternate Curriculum
Deliver instruction in life skills and functional academics for
K-3rd grade students. Work with students diagnosed with autism and
Down syndrome in a class operating across two classrooms.
Collaborate with two paraprofessionals to create supportive and
adaptive learning environments. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Certification in Special Education teaching. Experience
working with early childhood or elementary students with special
needs. Proven ability in managing classroom paraprofessional teams
effectively. Specific toileting and diapering experience for the
early childhood role. Skills in delivering life skills and
functional academic instruction tailored to students with autism
